What is it?
This patch created using Ableton Operator comes pretty close to emulating the original Roland 303 model and is straightforward to use with quick macros mapped to a number of useful parameters that help to further shape the sound you are after. What’s more, it includes a familiar MIDI generation device in STING that can inspire and quickly generate powerful acid lines at the touch of a button.
How to install and use this rack?
To install, navigate to your user library and locate where your Instrument racks are stored. Then drop this .adg file in that folder and open it in your next session. You may also need to download STING by Skinnerbox which you can get here.
Its use is simple. Load the instrument rack onto any MIDI channel and play around with its varying parameters and the MIDI based effects. Any questions let us know.
Other information...
The rack uses mostly Ableton's native effects and one external effect (STING) linked above. This should open in most versions of Ableton.
